Description​

A GCP Machine Image is a resource that captures the complete state of a virtual machine instance, including its configuration, data, and software. It serves as a template for creating new instances or restoring existing ones. Machine Images can be used for backup, disaster recovery, and rapid deployment of preconfigured environments across Google Cloud Platform.
