Description​

AWS IAM User is an identity within Amazon Web Services that represents a person or application. It has associated credentials and permissions that determine its access to AWS services and resources. IAM Users can be assigned to groups, given specific policies, and authenticated using passwords or access keys for programmatic access to AWS.
